Rhon’s Inspiration Station: What Would you Do?

This Sunday morning I chose to watch a Pastor having his TV service.  I was very moved  with his INSPIRATIONAL & POSITIVE SERMON He had a unique way of  truly motivating and touched on a subject many should be able to relate to .

The sermon today reflected his dedication to always serving Jesus first, and not letting people take control of you. Read on and you will learn some great ways of service to God first and foremost.  I believe inspiration comes from doing what is right in God’s eyes !

Today’s sermon on his program was “

“BE FREE TO BE ME”

The Pastor started off with humor  with

“BASEBALL IN HEAVEN”:

Two baseball players were talking, and one asked the other whoever goes first to Heaven let the other one know what is happening there. They shook on this !  Within  a couple  of weeks the young man who had the idea went to heaven, and remembered his promise he made to his friend.

He sent a message to his baseball friend Tom  and said “I have Good News, and other News that should interest you greatly”

Heaven is more beautiful than you can imagine, the other news is you are scheduled to play baseball HERE next Thursday.

“BE FREE To BE ME” message for Sunday had some GREAT points such as:

Become what God wants you to be !

Be free to stop trying to please everyone !

Don’t compromise your ethics to please people !

Don’t get controlled by those who you want as friends!

YOU NEED ONLY GOD’S APPROVAL !

At age 20

Most want to please every one and get exhausted doing it.

At age 40

Most don’t care about pleasing everyone.

At age 60

YOU realize you wasted your energy all these years on trying to please others in your family, at work, friends, and NOW more than ever is time to PLEASE GOD!

*** SOME FRIENDS HAD A DISCUSSION ABOUT WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU KNEW IT WAS THE  LAST 12 YEARS OF YOUR LIFE

First person said ” I would have pleased myself more, not worry about pleasing many people and not having time for God.

Second person said: ” I would have concentrated on  NOT trying to every day pushing my real feelings back, and follow others.  Now I want only to please  God first and foremost”.

3rd person said ” I would tune out negative voices”

4th person said ” I would realize not every one can be pleased, and I would try to live every day stronger for God, and be honest to my real feelings.

5th person said ”   I would not allow others to pressure me, I would be strong, and realize more important to praise God and live for him, instead of focusing on approval .

6th person said: “I would keep certain dreams to myself.  I would realize that not everyone will accept them, or want to believe I can do it”. I would run my own race and at last  BE FREE TO BE ME” and the man GOD created me to be!

I am sharing this sermon, as I feel

INSPIRATION comes from honoring God, and trusting him for guidance.

Whatever you are doing, give it your BEST, trust in yourself.  God made you an ORIGINALl,

no one else is exactly like you.  Do the BEST with what gifts God has given you.

Be INSPIRED, enjoy life NOW, for in the “blink of an eye”…. your opportunities on earth will be over.

Think about this

DOES WHAT YOU WANT TO DO

CALL WITNESS TO WHAT GOD WANTS YOU TO BE & DO?

  1. I’ve always believed we must be true to ourselves and God… but it is great to be reminded of this very
important fact from time to time. Thanks for doing that dear friend, Rhonnie!!
