Music City Ghost: The Dead Really Get The Best Awards
There is an old saying “Give flowers to the living not the dead.”
Of course it basically means why not let the person enjoy the flowers while alive since they won’t get to smell them if you give them after they have died. Why is it then that the Country Music Hall of Fame so often inducts someone into their precious hallowed grounds after they are dead? It just gets to me every time they announce a new member who has died already. If that person was worthy of going into the hall of fame then why wait till they are dead before putting them in there? Another thing that gets to me is when they stand up there at the funeral service and say what a fantastic man or woman the deceased was and yet all the while they were alive all they ever did was criticize or talk behind that person’s back. It is so hypercritical and yet it is part of every funeral service.
