A NEW  HEART

Here  before You, my Lord, I kneel in humility;

You alone I long for, You I  long to see.

My hardened heart Was once made of stone;

Yet a new  heart You gave me, A new spirit I own.

Your own Holy Spirit Dwells  now in my heart:

A deposit of eternity, You and I will never  part.

Jesus, soften my heart All the more, I pray;

Fill me with  Your Spirit Each moment, each day.

A new heart, a new spirit, I  embrace with gratitude;

My soul is refreshed, My mind is renewed.

I  praise You, O Jesus, From the depths of my heart:

I rejoice in  knowing You and I will never part.

So here  I am, my Lord, I am Yours for eternity,

For a new heart, a new  spirit, You have given to me.
