Yesterday, Dolly Parton and the cast of her TV movie, “Coat of Many Colors”, including Jennifer Nettles, visited the Today Show to talk about the film and the inspiration. The new NBC movie “Coat of Many Colors” tells the “rags-to-rhinestones” saga of Dolly Parton, who rose from poverty to become one of the biggest stars on the planet. As TODAY’s Willie Geist sits down with Parton at the new Dollywood resort, she tells him the movie came about to help fill in the shortage of family entertainment on TV.
