Colt Records Recording Artists James Marvell is excited to be on with his legendary friend “Jimmy Jay” this Saturday evening at 6 pm Eastern. Jimmy Jay is known to all in the radio and music world as ,”The DJ Of The Stars.” Jay is especially well known for his professional, interesting, original and entertaining approach to interviewing artists who have had major hits in the 60’s and 70’s. This very popular show is on a Major radio station WMEX 1510 out of Boston, Massachusetts in the United States.

In 2011 Marvell released a remake of the Mercy hit “Love Can Make You Happy.” His new version of the classic made the Cashbox Top10 again in 2011. James Marvell is one of 5 artists in history to ever achieve a Top 10 twice with the same hit song in either Billboard or Cashbox. Bruce Elrod, CEO and president  of Cashbox Magazine acknowledged this accomplishment. Marvell joins such greats as Chubby Checker and Neil Sedaka on that elite list.
