IDSS Ann Brown Loses her Son To Cancer

Independent Superstar, Ann Brown wishes to send thanks to all in the music industry who have reached out to comfort her in this very sad time, as she says goodbye to her loving Son Rick (In Picture Above). Ann says that Rick is now with the Lord, out of pain and finally at peace. According to Ann one of Rick’s last wishes was to be here for Christmas and thankfully he was granted that wish by our Lord, and he was able to be with his family one last time for Christmas. Ann believes with all her heart that she will see Rick again in Heaven, when her time comes to leave this world.

Ann Brown is an amazing, loving and caring person who is respected and loved by all in the music industry, and on behalf of all who have felt the sorrow in their hearts that Ann has had to endure this past year, we want to express our most sincere sympathy for her terrible loss, and pray that the Lord will help her through all the days of her life till she sees her Son Rick again. Rick died of cancer at the age of 53, he was an extremely gifted guitar player and will be missed by all. Patty Patrick from Austria was so moved by Ann’s loss that she wrote a special poem for Ann to comfort het during this sad time. This poem will soon be available as an MP3 Audio file for you to download at Wildhorse Entertainment  at no charge. See below:

Letter From Heaven

To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say.
Though first of all to let you know I arrived OK.

I’m writing this from heaven, here I dwell with Spirit above.
Here there’s no more tears of sadness, here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy because I am out of sight,
remember I am with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
Heavens warmth covered me and said “I welcome you”.
“It’s good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone,
As for your dearest family, they’ll be here later on.
We need you here so badly, you’re part of our great plan,
there’s so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.”
Spirit gave me a list of things that were wished for me to do,
and foremost on that list – was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in your bed at night the day’s chores put to flight,
Spirit and I are closest to you…in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years,
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry a while; it helps relieve the pain.
Remember there would no flowers unless there was some rain.

I wish I could explain to you all that Spirit has planned.
If I were to tell you, you would not understand.
One thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over,
I’m closer to you now than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb,
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I’d like it for you too;
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who’s in sorrow and in pain,
then you can say to me at night “My day was not in vain”.
So now I am contented…that my life was worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.

So if you meet someone who is sad and feeling low;
just lend a hand to pick him up as on your way you go.
When you’re walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind;
I’m walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind.
And when it’s time for you to go from that body to be free.
Remember: You’re not going…you’re coming here to me.

IDSS Ann Brown Loses her Son To Cancer

  1. What a beautiful poem Patty you are truly gifted to write a poem as deep and as beautiful as this one, it is also so comforting to know that you have dedicated this wonderful poem to Ann Brown and her Son Rick.

  2. Ann I never knew your Son Rick but from the picture displayed here he looks like he was a very happy person and someone that had a very kind heart. I know that it is easy to say that we know how you feel right now but if we have never lost a Son then we will never truly understand the pain you are going through right now. Our thoughts are with you Ann,and to cry may be the only way to wash away the pain.

  3. Ann, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this very trying time.
