Meghan Linsey Releases Brand New Single ‘Exes and Friends’

Bold Music Group is thrilled to announce the release of the newest single from Meghan Linsey, “Exes and Friends” available on all digital stores and streaming services Tuesday, November 1^st, 2016.  

The singer will celebrate by performing the song on WSMV’s ‘Today In Nashville’, where she is the weekly Xfinity ‘Voice’ Insider.

“Exes and Friends” written by Meghan and long time co-writers Julie Moriva and Tyler Cain is a song about an on again/off again relationship. The couple is existing somewhere between “happy endings” and “broken hearts.”  We’ve ALL been there. The track was produced by Tyler Cain (Ashley Monroe, James Otto) in Nashville, TN.

When asked about the release of “Exes and Friends”, the fearless singer says,

“I am so excited to release this song! I love being an independent artist, because it allows me the freedom to write what I want to write and record songs that I love. I feel like I’ve really been able to explore and find myself and with that, comes confidence. I’ve never been so excited about music!”

Linsey prides herself on following a DIY method when it comes to her career. She launched Bold Music Group, LLC in 2013 and has since dropped 2 EP’s independently, under her label. Meghan’s 2015 EP “Believer” shot to #6 on the iTunes pop albums chart. Rolling Stone praised the release saying, “The singer-songwriter’s voice packs its own one-two-punch with rasp and a range reminiscent of iconic soul singers of the Sixties.”

To supplement her single release, the singer has also launched a campaign through Patreon, a subscription service that allows fans to join in on the funding of artist’s content and recordings.
