Clay Alston Losses ‘Moma Jo’ on Valentines Day
For Independent Country Music Star Clay Alston losing
his mother was one of the hardest things he had to go through
As any of us know losing a parent is like losing part of our legacy. But for artists like Clay, they make sure their legacy lives on in their music. Josephine Alston, aka: “Moma Jo” (as everyone that loved her called her) went home with the Angels on February 14, 2016. She lost her battle with Cancer.
‘Mom Is Now In Heaven, Thank Y’all So So Much For All The Prayers, This Is The Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Had To Handle. Mom Was A Great Mother, A Great Buddy, and a God Sent Angel, My Brothers And I Are So Blessed To Have Her As Our Mother.” Clay
She raised three sons and you could tell she was proud of each of them. It was in her smile. She definitely made an impact on so many people and her love and support for country music will be there in every song that Clay records and in every one of his performances in the future. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. RIP “Moma Jo”.
