Clean up the junk on your hard drive: Recently I decided to take advantage of a company’s service that allegedly cleaned up all the junk on your hard drive and thus allowing your computer to run faster and more efficiently.  The advertisement stated it was free.  I went through all of the motions and clicked on all the appropriate boxes and the search for broken links, viruses, fragmented files etc. began.  After almost 30 minutes a prompt came on the screen that said I had 770 critical problems that needed fixed and do I wish to continue.  I clicked YES and immediately a request for $49.95 be paid right then and there.  I got angry since the advertisement stated it was for free and closed out the screen and didn’t pay for the service.  One day later my computer was full of viruses and some of them were beyond critical.  I can’t help but wonder if they were sent to me by the very company that was going to clean up my computer in the first place?  Does your computer’s hard drive have junk on it?
