Good luck, Bad luck: There was a segment of the popular TV show Hee Haw in which they sang a song with the following lyrics: Gloom, despair, and agony on me.

Deep, dark depression, excessive misery If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all Gloom, despair, and agony on me.

I once met a man that told me his luck was a duplicate of line 3 which says If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all.

He said once he got a paper cut from a “Get Well card.”  How is your luck?
