Billie Jo Spears dies at 74, Barbara Orbison, widow of Roy Orbison, dies at age 60, Charlie Douglas country music disc jockey dies at 78, Tom Roady Nashville percussionist dies at 62, Paul Yandell Nashville guitarist, Chet Atkins’ right-hand man, dies at 76, Don Wayne 78, Billy Grammer, Opry member dies at 85, Bill Johnson, Nashville artist, who redesigned ‘Rolling Stone’ logo, dies at 68, Steve Popovich, maverick record executive who worked with roster of legends, dies at 68, Jean Dinning songwriter ‘Teen Angel’ , Patsi Bale Cox, Johnnie Wright, Kitty Wells Husband, Charlie Louvin, Wilma Lee Cooper, Mel McDaniel, “Big John” Bechtel, one of Nashville’s Legendary Steel Guitarists passed away Sept 28th. He was 74 years old.
