2019 CMA Awards: 10 Best Dressed Looks We Love

Sounds Like Nashville breaks down 10 best dressed looks from 2019 CMA Awards

The only thing giving us life after Wednesday’s (Nov. 13) 53rd annual CMA Awards is reliving all the bold and beautiful styles from the red carpet. Country’s leading women shined in glimmering sequins, lush velvets and daring colors. Men were stylin’ and profilin’ in florals and concert blacks, while couples rocked showstopping numbers for an unforgettable date night with their significant others.

Here are Sounds Like Nashville’s favorite ensembles from the CMA Awards red carpet.

Carrie UnderwoodDolly Parton and Reba McEntire

It’s said that magic always happens in threes, and this trio was pure enchantment on the red carpet together. Underwood stunned in a sheer gold gown by Elie Madie. Parton looked ravishing in her white dress by Jackson Lowell, and McEntire rocked a gorgeous black ensemble by Nashville’s Jonathan Kayne that just wouldn’t quit with the glamor.

Bradbery knocks red-carpet looks out of the park every single time. She did not disappoint with this beautiful, off-the-shoulder, red Hamel dress.

Kacey Musgraves

Musgraves holds court at any red carpet, and last night was no different. She lit up the CMA Awards in a yellow pastel Valentino gown that was pure sunshine with feather accents.

The Highwomen

The Highwomen Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Amanda Shires and Natalie Hemby are each stunning on their own. But when their powers combine, they are proverbial fire. Carlile’s custom suit was by Sanne London and paired with a Gucci blouse and Saint Laurent boots. Morris looked like the belle of the ball in her astonishing pastel blue gown by Honayda’s Honayda Serafi. Shires played up her power suit like the boss she is, and Hemby was elegance personified in her Greta Constantine dress.

Jennifer Nettles

Nettles arguably had the most-talked-about outfit of the night with her collaboration by Christian Siriano and artist Alice Mizrachi. Her Siriano suit was paired with an original Mizrachi illustration and the message, “Play our f*@#!n records, please, and thank you!” “I saw a wonderful opportunity to invite and inspire conversation about country music’s need to play more women artists on radio and playlistings,” Nettles wrote on Instagram. “What better and more womanly way to invite such conversation than with fashion that sends a message?!”

Michael Ray

Ray gets a standing ovation for his Alexander McQueen suit with the silver flora embroidery. We just can’t get enough!

Home Free’s Adam Chance, Tim Foust, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist and Adam Rupp could wear burlap sacks and look great. However, they were hands down the most stylish men on the red carpet. Their scheme of gray, burgundy and floral made them stand out among the pack on country’s biggest night. Pictured from left to right are Chance in an Indochino suit, Foust in a Robert Graham sport coat and Ted Baker pants, Brown in a Topman sport coat and Ted Baker pants, Lundquist in Indochino and Rupp in Express. Their boots were a mix of Asos and John Varvatos.

Check out the boldness on LANCO! What’s not to love about these rock star looks? Pictured from left to right are Chandler Baldwin, Jared Hampton, Brandon Lancaster, Eric Steedly and Tripp Howell.

Dustin Lynch

Lynch’s irresistible pearly white smile this year was paired with a sleek white Dolce & Gabanna suit with Lucchese boots, and the result pretty much made us flatline in a good way.

Jon Pardi and Summer Duncan

Pardi and fiancee Summer Duncan’s coordinating sparkle and twang made us secretly hope they would adopt us for their next shopping trip. This couple has some serious style.
