WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE OLDIE? Since 8 years old, I love to discover great sounding tunes that rarely appear on the radio. Flip sides of 45 rpm records that never receive radio airplay. Follow up tunes to #1 hits that never make it on the air. San Antonio, TX has a radio station, KCJV LP (97.9 No Hit Radio and The Greatest Songs You’ve Never Heard), that plays long versions and obscure songs. Tell us. What is an Oldie that you like but never hear on the radio? You might help us discover wonderful, but hidden, tunes too.

According to Gerry Poppe, last week Bernie suffered a stroke which ultimately lead to pneumonia and his situation deteriorated rapidly. He was a true broadcaster and mentor to many of us.
