Dear Prayer Warriors, Please pray for the wife of a dear friend of so many of us at the Opry. Her name is Michelle Hensley.

Dear Carol, I don’t know if you know this yet or not.  I haven’t seen anything come in about this yet.  Tommy Hensley’s wife (Michelle) has cancer and it is pretty advanced.  She has already started a very aggressive chemotherapy.  And, of course, she is very sick from that!  I don’t know a lot of details, but she has the cancer in several places.  She and Tommy really need prayer!!  (I think you know who he is….the house sound man for the Grand Ole Opry.  He is so precious!! Always has a big smile!!)  Please put this on the list.  I will try to find out more details and let you know when I do – Sharon

Just got a call from a friend with a request for prayers. His wife, Leona Bowen, 727 Northview, Gallatin TN 37066 is in the hospital with a staph infection.  She does not have insurance because she was unable to work enough hours to qualify for it.

Please pray that she is back in good health and able to leave the hospital soon – Bill

Prayer for Guidance:  Lord, teach me to number my days aright, that I may gain wisdom of heart. Help me do today the things that matter, not to waste the time I have. The moments I have are precious, Lord, see that I count them dear. Teach me to number my days aright. Fill me this day with your kindness, That I may be glad and rejoice all the days of my life. Through Christ I pray – Amen 

A Prayer of Repentance:  Lord our God, good and merciful, I acknowledge all my sins Which I have committed every day of my life, in thought, word and deed; In body and soul alike. Prayer of Resolve:  I  bind myself to you this day, oh Christ, in your truth and in your sacrifice. I give to you my anxiety and my fear, my depression and my doubt, For you have promised to take them if we only ask; And I take upon myself your burden, for it is light and your way is gentle. May I keep this in my heart and mind all this day – Amen.
