After American Idol, Why Did Scotty McCreery Return To School

Scotty McCreery did not have to return for his senior year at Garner High. It is said that his reason for returning was to be around his longtime friends who would help him stay humble. Not missing out on senior year traditions which would include Friday night football and the homecoming dance was also on his list of reasons. In the end, he chose not to opt for online classes but to return to school.
