Today is going to be a very comfortable weather day, and a part of tomorrow will also be the same, but then tomorrow afternoon and early evening, frigid weather with sub-zero temperatures will be upon us, and I ask you to please, please stay in if you do not have to go out, and turn the heat up. If you must brave these temperatures for your job or any reason, please bundle up with layers of warm clothing, and get back inside as soon as possible. I know our electric bills will go up, but this kind of weather is so dangerous. I pray the Blessed Lord will watch over all homeless people and guide them to know that THEY MUST ENTER THE SHELTERS PROVIDED WHERE THEY ARE. If they do not the end result will be tragic. We can use our prayer lines to pray for all in danger, and for all who are in the path of this weather coming our way. Thank you.
I have an update on the surgery for Gary Scott. Gary surgery was successful and he is at home today to begin his recovery which will take about 6 weeks. Gary and his wife Jeanette thank each of you for your prayers for Gary, and as you can see, the outcome was successful. My thanks also.
Prayer for the Morning
Heavenly Father, let me live this day as the gift it is, for You have truly blessed me to live it. And if I may suffer, I will carry with me the certainty that one day I will see You face to face, a day when all things will become clear and my pain will be made whole through the grace of Christ, my God. Blessed be you, oh Lord my God, and blessed be the day you have given me.
