JUDY’S NOTES: SPOTLIGHTING FAMILY WITH NOTE WORTHY NEWS!

From Oct. 4th to the 7th, I was in Boca Raton, FL visiting with daughter, Amy Wayne, her husband Gary and daughter, Angie Zeiderman, who lives nearby. My younger daughter, Karen Stice (from Concrete WA) was visiting at the same time with her boyfriend, Kiran Toor. This was the first time we’d met Kiran and we all approved of Karen’s choice. He is amicable, well read and loves Brit Coms as much as I do. He was able to tell me what different words & sayings meant that Bill and I had wondered about for years. Bill, who stayed home, would have me ask him questions when we spoke by phone..
We did some fun things that weekend, like eating out, going to happy hour on Sat., where Gary was performing in a duo (he also in the lead singer of “The Long Run”, an Eagles Tribute Band) on Atlantic Blvd. in Boca and on Sunday, visiting at Calvery Chapel and later taking a 3-hour boat ride on the Water Taxi in Fort Lauderdale. I’d been on this back in the 70’s when I lived there, but enjoyed it again as did everyone, especially Kiran who’d not been in FL before. I hadn’t seen all my kids at one time since my mother’s funeral in July, 2011, so this was a special treat for me!.
