WHISNews21 Prayer Line and thoughts for Saturday May 11, By Marty Martel.

redlightEmergency Prayer Line: We do not get many emergency prayer lines but today we have the following emergency and we need to bring to the attention of our Blessed Lord that our prayers are for Ben, that the Master Physician will guide the hands of these surgeons as they are doing everything in their power to be successful in reattaching little Ben’s fingers and saving his arms.

PLEASE, PLEASE SEND OUT YOUR PERSONAL PRAYERS

AND ALL OF OUR PRAYER LINES TO ASK FOR GUIDANCE FROM OUR LORD – Thank you.

SaturdayMarty,  I HAVE A MOST URGENT PRAYER REQUEST from Gene & Micki Farington The 5-year-old son of the Worship Pastor at 1st Baptist Church, Jacksonville, FL, had a terrible accident this week.  His Daddy is also a pilot, and Ben (the 5-year-old) was trying to climb on an automatic hanger door opener at the local airport and got his right arm caught in it. It broke his right arm in two places and severed one finger — then he reached up with his little left hand and arm and grabbed a cable that was moving which broke that arm and severed four fingers. They transported immediately him by jet ambulance evac to Duke University Hospital where he was in surgery for 15 hours as they prayerfully tried to save his arms and reattach his little fingers. The doctor there is one of only two in the country who specialize in reattaching limbs to small children.  At this point, they think they can save the arms, but aren’t sure about the fingers and have asked for prayer that God would supply the blood and oxygen necessary for the tissue in those little fingers to live.  I thank you for your prayers.  This little guy is a real trooper and his name is Ben.  He lost his mother to cancer two years ago, and his daddy, Steve, is a single dad who is raising two twins, Ben and his little sister.  PLEASE ALSO PRAY FOR THE PASTOR FAMILY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Rhonnie Scheuerman

Terry Stromatt has asked for continued prayers for Betty Jean Olinger Stromatt in Summit hospital for internal bleeding. They performed an upper G.I. found polyps in small intestine. Staying for healing and observation thru Sunday. She’s in very good spirits.”

Marty, If you would, please add my cousins 10-year old son to the prayer line.  This sweet child has severe pain in his leg and groin area, my cousin took him to the doctor, did some testing, and found that he has a tumor.  They are waiting for the results of the biopsy to see if this tumor is cancerous.   Please ask our prayer warriors to lift Jimmy Moran up in prayer as well as his parents and siblings during this difficult time. Thank you, Sandy

Great news that Lorraine Smart who has been in the hospital for several days with bronchitis and pneumonia is now back home and recuperating.  Continued prayers for her and her husband Jimmy.  She has asked me to thank everyone for their prayers and prayer lines.

WE DO NOT WALK ALONE: The maze in life can be confusing paths that lead to endless trails; The ups and downs discourage us, our strength and courage often fails. We walk on roads in darkness, hoping that our route is right. We must have faith that God will guide with His everlasting light. Although our paths encounter fear through travels in the vast unknown, When we hold tight to His embrace, we will never walk alone. Yes, there are pitfalls on the way, we stumble, falter, and we fall, But God will lift us up again – His love and peace sustains us all. Go forth with hope and confidence, let His countenance abide; We do not ever walk alone for God is ever at our sidePatience Allison Hartbauer   If you have anyone you would like to send a prayer out to please mail them to
