Marty, a dear friend of mine, Nick Nixon, has been a long time friend of mine and many others. He is battling cancer and is in need of prayers. He has always been there for many others, now he needs us!!!

Nick, and Don Earl wrote The Teddy Bear Song, that Barbara Fairchild had a big hit with back in the 70’s. Nick had several songs that he recorded on Mercury that hit the charts, but he refused to go on the road and leave his family. He is an awesome talent and a great person.

A few songs he had in the charts were, Leave Your Back Porch Light On, Rockin In Roselee’s Boat. And Old Habit I Can’t Break, Charley Pride had the #1 hit with this tune, but Nick Nixon was the first to chart with his version in 1975, when it reached #64 – Thanks, Maggie

Prayers are still needed for our friend Ray Emmett: Marty,
 We still need prayers!! My dad is STILL in Vanderbilt, going on week 4, last night they brought him to ICU. He is being monitored better today than he was in the other room, which I am happy he is in ICU for that, but he is not out of the woods. Please continue prayers, and when he gets out of ICU, visitors would be welcome, cheer him up.
I have to go back to Colorado today, and hate leaving him…I wish I could stay!!!! Renee is stressed to the max, so prayers for her too. Thanks so much! Blessings, Linda Kyle (Ray Emmett’s daughter)

Just got this request from our dear friend and brother, Donnie Clark. His mother Nancy Clark is in I.C.U. and needs your prayersright now. Billy, please put my mom on the prayer chain. She had complications from her surgery a blood clot that went to her heart and lung and we lost her for a minute but they revived her and cleared her lungs and have her on 100 percent oxygen. The situation is critical and we ask you for pray healing prayers for mom and all of us in the name of Jesus. Thanks so much! – Donnie & Vickie Clark

Share with another our comfort when they are in time of need; How He is the Rock to lean on and how upon Him we feed.
