I ask again to put Rev. David Landrith in your prayers and on your prayer lines.

This is an Urgent Prayer Request.

Please keep in your prayers and prayer lines Pastor David Landrith of Long Hollow Baptist Church here in Hendersonville, TN.

Before he spoke to his congregation on Sunday, the Rev. David Landrith of Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville read a passage from the Old Testament book of Psalms.

“Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom,” he read from Psalm 90.

Then Pastor Landrith, who was diagnosed last week with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called colorectal melanoma, told his 9,000-member congregation that his days are likely numbered.

UNWORTHY AS WE ARE: How blessed we are in many way, unworthy as we are, As we look into the heavens and wish upon a star. God gave us tongues to praise Him and eyes that we might see The marvelous creation He made for you and me. And yet we take for granted these blessings every day, And rarely do we praise Him for gifts He sends our way. Each season brings new blessings for our eyes to behold; A these simple, daily pleasures are more precious than gold. It’s not the things that we possess that makes us who we are, But what we share with others as we travel near and far. Each day’s a new beginning, bright as the morning star.
