WHISNews21 Prayer Line and thoughts for yesterday, today and tomorrow by Marty Martel
Marty, I would like to ask everyone to pray for the people in Fritch, Tex. and the surrounding area that got fire damage this last week end. The fire started Sat. afternoon at about 3 pm and is still burning, they have lost over 100 structures, including 75 homes. One life has been lost and the fire fighters are exhausted. The wind has been blowing since Saturday and no sign of let up. Thank you! and God Bless you for what you do for everyone through your prayer line – Liz Whitfield Amarillo, TX

My dear Brownwood High School brother, Pat Coursey, lost his younger brother Sam last week to heart problems. Just yesterday, Pat lost his son Gary, who was 54. Needless to say, Pat is devastated. Pat’s wife Nelle sent me this message below earlier tonight. Let’s all lift Pat and Nelle and their entire family up to our Father’s throne room in prayer during this time of incredible sorrow. May God bless us all – Bill Graham
From: “COURSEY, NELLE” nellecoursey@yahoo.com I just wanted you to know that Pat’s son, Gary died yesterday. 54 and way too young! We are all devastated. Pat needs your prayers as well as the rest of the family. After losing Sam, this has been 100 times worse on him. I am worried sick!
Prayer for God to Dwell with Us Today
Holy Jesus, who has promised that if we love you, you and the Father will love us
And come to us and make your home with us, I give you my love without reservation.
Your words are sacred and I aspire to live by them, this day and always,
And I glorify you for your sacrifice of pain and death, made out of your love for us,
That all who follow you might find salvation and eternal life.
Bless me this day to live with your Spirit, to resist temptation to evil, and to show your joy and love to all.
Make your home with me, that I might be truly blessed, I pray.
Amen
