WHISNews21 Prayer Line and thoughts for Wednesday May 15, By Marty Martel.
Please keep in your prayers and prayer lines, Jean Stromatt. Jean is a member of R.O.P.E.’s Board of Directors and a great friend of Country Music. She has done and still does so much for the music industry.
Also my friends Jerry and Shirley Overcast lost their little puppy dog “Pokie” yesterday, and we all know the hurt that comes with the loss of our dear pets. Please keep Jerry and Shirley in your thoughts and prayers. It is devastating when we lose our family pets because they are so much a part of our lives.
Jeff Jones, one of our songwriters, will be having major surgery on June 3 and I ask you to keep him in your prayers and prayer lines that our Blessed Savior guides the hands of the surgeons to make the surgery successful and for Jeff to have a speedy recovery. I know we are out in advance of his surgery, but hopefully you will add it to your calendars.
EACH SPRING: When Spring arrives and blossoms burst with brilliant, breathless charm, When baby chicks and piglets, too, arrive on Grandpa’s farm. When busy bees and butterflies glide by with quiet grace And robins search with halting hops for worms, from place to place. When sunshine filters through the trees and spreads across the land, And yellow warblers sing their song, so sweet and oh, so grand. When once again warm breezes stir and skies are azure blue, My quickened heart gives thanks to God, the world is born anew! And as I view His handiwork for one and all to see, I’m deeply grateful for God’s love and awesome majesty. Vi B. Chevalier
