Scotty McCreery Invited By Garth Brooks to join the World Famous Grand Ole Opry

During the Opry Country Christmas show, Garth Brooks surprised Scotty McCreery by inviting him to join The Grand Ole Opry. A wrapped present was carried on stage by Brooks as he said, “Merry Christmas.”. Brooks gave the present to McCreery, telling him he could not open it until Christmas. Brooks continued, This is a Christmas gift and a great pleasure from the Grand Ole Opry.welcoming you to the Opry. McCreery shook his head in disbelief as Garth removed his cowboy hat.

Despite being open about his desire to join the Opry, McCreery did not hesitate to accept. He replied by saying it would be his pleasure and would love to. Garth, you’re the reason I grew up listening to your records. I didn’t think that dream would become a reality, but it has, thanks to all of you sitting in this house tonight. God bless you.While fighting emotion, McCreery explained that people had asked him about his goals since the beginning of his career and becoming an Opry member was one of my goals.
