Dear Carol Lee: I just received word that my sister Doris has been diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately a rapid type.  I ask your prayer warriors to please pray for my sister.  She worked for over 4 years at the Country Music Hall of Fame and later had a very successful tour company bringing tourists to Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry…it was the Nashville Express Tour Company.  My other sister Pat (who later managed The Mister Jack Daniels Silver Coronet Band for 15 years) was involved in the company as well as my Mom, Dad and neice Susan St. Marie.  (My sister’s name is Doris Lynch)

I know her only hope is prayer.  God does miracles.  Thanking you so much, in advance, for posting my prayer request. God bless you, Tommy Overstreet

Good Marty, I went to the surgeon yesterday, and it turns out my situation is more urgent than what I thought.  I knew they’d do surgery soon, but I didn’t think it would be tomorrow, (2/21).   I don’t know what time yet, they’ll call me this afternoon and let me know. Would you ask our Prayer Warriors to guide the doctors hands during the surgery and for a full recovery, please?  Sandy

Morning Prayer (George Washington)

Lord our God, most mighty and merciful father, I, your unworthy creation and servant,

Once more approach your presence. Though not worthy to appear before you,

Because of the many sins and transgressions which I have committed against your divine majesty; Yet I pray you, for the sake of him in whom you are well pleased,

The Lord Jesus Christ, to let me give you thanks and praise for your many and varied mercies Extended toward me, for the quiet rest and repose of the past night, for food, clothing, health, Peace, liberty, and the hopes of a better life through the merits of your dear son’s bitter passion.

And O kind Father, continue your mercy and favor to me this day, and always; give resolution to all my Lawful undertakings; let me have all my directions from your Holy Spirit;

And success from your bountiful hand. Let the bright beams of your light so shine into my heart,
