Biography of Clay Alston: Born and raised in DeRidder, Louisiana, I got interested in music when my uncle left an old worn-out, out-of-tune guitar at our house one weekend. I was probably 10 years old when I started strumming on that guitar, and now that I’m older I’m still strumming on guitars. I never took music so seriously to the point were it’s not fun, even though I’ve had chances to go in different directions with the music business. I always kept my head below the clouds and never let my head get above them. My personal thought on music is to make the listener refresh their memories, mostly the happy ones. But, as we all know, if you live long enough in this world, we all have to deal with our sad memories too. I love to entertain. As for anyone who has been to the places I’ve played, you know I’ve always put the people first. I want you to get your money’s worth and much more. I love meeting people and I love listening to their stories. I hope to see you soon in your hometown.
CONGRATULATIONS Clay, you are a true entertainer, with a GREAT voice. YES, people truly relate to you , and enjoy your concerts. You put the audiance first no matter where you entertain. CONGRATULATIONS on this special important award. I know when I got mine for songwriting, I was humbled and so delighted . God bless you and may God continuing blessing you, and your career.
