WHISNews21 Prayer Line and thoughts for Saturday June 29, By Marty Martel.

My neighbor, Hope Lundberg, is again asking for your prayer warriors to intercede for her husband, Raymond Lundberg, who is experiencing side effects from his latest chemotherapy treatment.  Raymond has had to receive IV fluids due to dehydration, and is very weak and experiencing mental confusion and agitation.  We know that nothing is impossible with God and are believing that our Lord Jesus will touch him with His healing hands and restore Raymond’s health. Thank you for all that you do for the Lord and His Kingdom – Jan Caston

Marty, I had requested prayer for my sister who had lung cancer and wanted to give a praise report.   She was in the hospital for 3 weeks, had 2/3 of her lung removed, two lymph nodes were sent for biopsy and no results yet but still praying for good results.  She went home yesterday. God is good!!! Thanks for your prayer line it works!!!!! – Jeannette Davis

To everyone, I’m sure most of you know by now, but in case not, Ray, my dear husband and soulmate for 30 years passed away June 2. I wanted to let everyone know before his email address is no longer active.
He does have a facebook page and if you send a friend request you can share some memories. We will also post updates about the upcoming Celebration of Life Aug 4 at 2:00 at the Blue Moon Waterfront Grille. We hope to have a little pickin and talkin about the good times and sharing some good memories.
I’m sure he would want to thank all of you for being a part of his life – Mahalo

 For the Needy:Dear Lord above, never let me forget about those who are hurting from guilt, Shame and other afflictions I may not know about. Show me that I need to remember those who are: sick, imprisoned, lonely, confused, In need of a friend, dying, hungry, spiritually lost in their lives Wandering aimlessly through life. Teach me to comfort my brothers and sisters In their hours of need, wherever they may be. Guide me to look deeply into their hearts and understand.Teach me to reach out my hands and help them up And feed their souls and hearts with your word, O Lord. Let me never forsake one of my hurting brothers or sisters along life’s way. Grant me the strength to carry forth your will and your way in bringing all to you, dear Father. I pray this needful prayer through your blessed Son, Jesus Christ – Amen.

Prayer of Thanks for This Life;God in heaven, I was born a weak, defenseless child, But your angel spread his wings over my cradle to defend me. From birth until now your love has illumined my path And has wondrously guided me towards the light of eternity; From birth until now the generous gifts of your providence Have been marvelously showered upon me. I give you thanks for every step of my life’s journey, Together with all who have come to know you, Who call upon your name. All glory be to you, O God, from age to age – Amen.
