Biography of TREVOR HOOPER International Award Winning Songwriter

A mother’s and a grandmother’s love. Two of the greatest gifts one can have, and for Trevor Hooper, it was those 2 women that pushed him to the pen initially when he started writing short stories and poetry as an adolescent in New South Wales, Australia in the mid 1970’s.

Over the years, his way with words guided him towards Songwriting in 2011. In 2017, Hooper then landed at Majestic Records as a “Honorary” Staff Writer with Countrywine  Publishing Company, with his ultimate goal being to write a #1 Hit Song. This goal has now been achieved 18 times over. Hooper has showcased his abilities on a Record he penned titled: ONCE IN A LIFETIME: HEART, BODY & SOUL which is available on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify.

In June, 2018, Hooper partnered up with Aaron Bozwell of Nashville, Tennessee. He signed as a Staff Writer with USA Paragon Publishing Company, whilst working from his new home of Perth, Australia. In 2021, Hooper penned his first Radio Single, SPELLBOUND, which was co-written and performed by Aaron Bozwell. In August of that year saw Hooper and Bozwell team up again for the Gospel Song, ON THE WINGS OF EAGLES which was co-written and performed by Bozwell.

Whilst Hooper can’t play an instrument or sing, he can write his heart out. With that, he gathered a myriad of many talented musicians and vocalists from Diamond Garden Music, Majestic Records and ParamountSong.com to give life to his work. Inspired by the storytelling of Keith Urban and Ronnie Dunn, Hooper too loves to tackle love and loss, but also his own Christian values on Songs like GOD’S ALWAYS ON THE PRAYER LINE. Not only love and Christian  ways but family also play an integral role in influencing Hooper’s pen.

His songs A DAUGHTER’S  LOVE and WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD were both inspired by his oldest daughter, Nicole and his youngest, Chantelle. But the most influential is his wife of 26 years, Coral, whom he wrote the song THIS IS MY GIRL about whom passed away on 16th November, 2023 after a 2 year battle with Cancer.

Finding his way to the LORD, family and music have all played a key role for Hooper during his darker days. Having lived undiagnosed with anxiety and depression for nearly 15 years previously left Hooper on the Streets. Thankfully, he has been able to turn his life around and is now on track with his career. One that is leading to Music City, USA, Nashville, Tennessee to work with his trusted Songwriting Partner, Aaron Bozwell.

Since October, 2022, Hooper has written a total of 20 Number 1 Hits on the International Independent AirplayExpress and other worldwide Charts, 10 of which were co-written and performed by Aaron Bozwell.
