The clock continues to tick, as every day is one day closer to the biggest & most exciting music show of the year with the big R.O.P.E. Music Award Show, scheduled for Sunday, October 20th from 1-4:00 pm at the legendary Troubadour Theatre at 2416 Music Valley Drive in Nashville. Rope is delighted to honor two deserving music legends, Ronnie McDowell (R.O.P.E. 2024 “Entertainer Of The Year”) & Johnny Rodriguez (“Lifetime Achievement Award”)..
A very deserving award will also be presented to David Bellamy for “Songwriter Of The Year,” Stephen Shepherd for “Musician Of The Year” and Marcia Campbell for “Country DJ Of The Year”! R.O.P.E. Music Awards is also pleased to announce Dallas Wayne, a recording artist/songwriter and host of “Willie’s Roadhouse” radio station. In addition to acting as emcee, Bobby G Rice will perform such iconic songs as “You Lay So Easy On My Mind”, a worldwide hit for Bobby in 1973.
Over the course of their four decades of history, R.O.P.E. has been known for their many, many music legends attending their Annual Award show & other R.O.P.E. social events which were filled with great visual memories of many country icons, including legendary Bill Anderson & Jan Howard, Lynn Anderson & Casey Anderson, Gene Watson & Jim Ed Brown, and TG Sheppard, Kelly Lang and man more. We certainly hope to see you there, as this show only comes around once a year.

R.O.P.E. or Reunion Of Professional Entertainers is defined as a thick, strong cord made from several strands twisted together. It’s no coincidence that the Reunion of Professional Entertainers is known by the acronym R.O.P.E. as they are a strong group of folks in the entertainment industry united in fellowship and camaraderie, which really and truly makes it a ‘rope’ of great people. Established on May 3rd, 1983, by country music icon Gordon Terry with the goal of uniting working musicians to connect and socialize with one another.
