Here before You, my Lord, I kneel in humility;

You alone I long for, You I long to see.

Yet a new heart You gave me, A new spirit I own.

A deposit of eternity, You and I will never part. Jesus, soften my heart All the more, I pray;

Fill me with Your Spirit Each moment, each day. A new heart, a new spirit, I embrace with gratitude;

My soul is refreshed, My mind is renewed. I praise You, O Jesus, From the depths of my heart:

I rejoice in knowing You and I will never part.

Yet a new heart You gave me, A new spirit I own. So here I am, my Lord, I am Yours for eternity,

For a new heart, a new spirit, You have given to me.

~**~

Caroline Gavin © Sept. 2012

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;

I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Ezekiel 36:26

This week I would like to share with you a poem I received in my mail from Caroline Gavin, it is simply beautiful… A NEW HEART Here before You, my Lord, I kneel in humility; You alone I long for, You I long to see.
