By the 1990s, Rock radio eases from Top 40 into different segments. So, instead of two Top 40 radio stations that play Rock music, we now have 4 or 5. Rock radio divides itself into too many variants. No more double digit Top 40 ratings. In 1976, when I\u2019m MD\/DJ on Top 40 KXOL-1360 Ft. Worth, TX it flips to Country.
