In an unprecedented pairing of two country music superstars, Hank Williams, Jr. and Brad Paisley wowed a national television audience performing their duet, \u201cI\u2019m Gonna Get Drunk and Play Hank Williams\u201d on tonight\u2019s CMT Awards.\u00a0 Hank and Brad performed to a crowd of approximately 30,000 on the streets of downtown Nashville.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m Gonna Get Drunk and Play Hank Williams\u201d is featured on Hank\u2019s new album, \u201cOld School, New Rules\u201d available everywhere on July 10.<\/p>\n

\u201cTonight was a special night!\u00a0 Having Brad perform with me and especially on my new album is something special,\u201d Williams said.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s a good \u2018ole honky-tonk song that Brad-cephus and Bocephus had a lot of fun playing tonight!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI count as one of my greatest blessings in this career being able to get to know Hank,\u201d Paisley said.\u00a0 \u201cWhen I heard the song, I said, \u2018This is perfect\u2019.\u00a0 It\u2019s such a great tribute to his dad.\u00a0 The idea that two of us from this generation are getting together to forget a woman with the music of his father is too much fun!\u00a0 It\u2019s a highlight for me!\u201d<\/p>\n
