\nHave just lost an aunt\u00a0 only a couple of months after my mother in law.\u00a0 Please keep us in your prayers, Many thanks<\/em> – Susan B<\/strong>
\nMarty my friend Jerry Naylor lost his oldest child yesterday.\u00a0 I would appreciate you asking everyone to pray for him and his family.\u00a0 His son Geoff was burned over 100% of his body in an tragic accident and was unable to survive. You may or may not know Jerry, but he was former lead singer for the Crickets after the untimely death of Buddy Holly.\u00a0 He now lives near me in Oregon.\u00a0 His son resided in California, he leaves his wife Lisa and son Trevor.
\nIf they have an extra prayer, perhaps they would say one for me.<\/b>\u00a0 On August 17th I gave my last Professional concert in Carthage, Texas at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, my career started in Texas and ended there 62 years later!\u00a0 Upon returning from Texas I was hospitalized for two weeks (I came close), as my emphysema had gotten worse.\u00a0 I feel better and getting stronger each new day, but can’t perform anymore…can’t fly and taking any trip would be extremely difficult, due to the oxygen I now require. So I will continue writing my songs and my books.\u00a0 I now have a children’s book on Amazon.com titled, The Graham Cracker<\/i><\/b> Kid and the Calico Girl<\/b>,<\/i> and I will receive copies of my new memoir next Wednesday (it’s already on Amazon as an eBook and one can order the printed copy there as well) it’s titled, A Road Less Traveled<\/i><\/b>…<\/i>I’m very proud of both books and have 4 new ones I’m working on.Thank you for your daily Thought of the Day and Prayers<\/i><\/b> and your friendship over the years.\u00a0 It’s always uplifting to me and helps me start my day off right! \nI have just been informed that our dear friend Gene Kennedy, who is VP of our R.O.P.E. organization, is asking for prayers for his daughter who has been in a serious automobile accident.\u00a0 She is undergoing operations and I ask you to please\u00a0 stop and pray to our Blessed Lord that He will touch her with His healing hand and heal her with His love and blessings, and that He will watch over Gene and family to keep them in His comfort and love.\u00a0 She is a young lady who recently married and I know Gene and family are going through this difficult time of worry as she undergoes medical attention.Please pray that the Master Surgeon will guide the hands of her doctors and their staff to heal her body.\u00a0 He is our lifeline in all that we do<\/em> – Marty<\/strong><\/p>\n
