Then the \u00a0rains came.<br \/>\n(4) The building experienced uneven lateral pressure from north to south.<br \/>\n(5) This resulted in a lateral pressure\u00a0of 3,000 tons, which was greater than what the un-reinforced pilings\u00a0could tolerate.
