WHISNews21 Prayer Line and thoughts for Friday August 23, By Marty Martel.

."Friday"

Good day from Hendersonville, TN where it is already nearing 80 degrees heading for the low 90’s, and beautiful outside and inside. Just looking up at the sky tells me that our Blessed Lord has a clear view of all of his children and will send down his blessings on each of us. Have a great day.

Keep in your thoughts and prayer lines Little Jimmy Dickens who I forgot in yesterdays prayer line. And for those who know Smokey Smith, the following is an address to send Smokey a get well card, and I know that he would really appreciate that. He is doing great from the reports I am getting, and wants everyone to know how thankful he is for all of your thoughts and prayers. His address is as follows: Smokey Smith-1816 Hillside – West Des Moines, IA 50265.

I would appreciate the Prayer Warriors offer up prayers for my wife, Edna Earle Faust. She was stricken with a Stroke on the right side of her body on July 15th.She was in the hospital until August 13th.We brought her home for recouperation. On Saturday August 17th we had to rush her to another hospital suffering from Diverticulitis. The Doctors said had we not got her to the hospital when we did, we could have lost her. She was there until yesterday Wednesday August 21st. She is still in much pain but getting better.

Thank you for all you do in helping us all and may God bless you and your family.

Prayer for the Morning

Oh God the King eternal, who divides the day from the darkness,

And has turned the shadow of death into the light of morning;

I pray that this day you will incline my heart to keep your commandments,

Driving temptation from my mind. Guide my feet into the way of peace;

That having done your will with cheerfulness while it was day,

I may, when the night comes, rejoice in giving you thanks for a day lived in your presence; Through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen
