In 1965, he takes the stage name Billy Scott. In 1966, with his wife, Barbara, they record as The Prophets. In 1968, their first Gold record is I Got the Fever<\/i>. <\/span><\/p>\n

As the Georgia Prophets, they record California<\/i> and Seaside Love<\/i>. In 1999, Billy Scott inducts into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame. At 10:30 am on Saturday, November 17, 2012 Billy dies at 70 of pancreatic and liver cancer in his home in Charlotte, NC. So, the Everly Bothers politely decline to record Dylan’s new song. <\/span><\/p>\n
