LIZ PATRANELLA Liz Houston – KTSA-550, KBAT-680] (Austin, TX) Subject: Memorials to Bruce. I have been asked if there is a specific charity or charities that Bruce Hathaway supported or his family is requesting donations to in his memory. I am not aware of any of those charities, but I thought that you might consider giving a donation to Darrell Taylor in memory of Bruce. Darrell worked in radio broadcasting for 40 years. He was active in S.A. during the 1970s working at KONO/KITY, KBUC, KZZY, and KSMG. He is a very active member of SoSARB, attending every function since joining our group. As you know, Darrell is in need of financial assistance for the large medical expenses he is facing during his treatment for Stage 4 lung cancer including special equipment to drain his lung. A GoFundMe site has been set up with all funds raised to be used for Darrell’s treatments and medical needs. Here’s the link to the site: https://www.gofundme.com/dollars-for-Darrell Please give what you can. As soon as you can. For yourself. Or in memory of Bruce. Thank you. Liz

JOANIE GREEN [KPRC TV CH 2, KZEW FM, KFWD FM, KNOK FM, KAUM FM, KILT FM, KNUZ-1230, Metro Traffic, Houston Taping for the Blind] (Tulsa, OK) Hi Jim! The picture I have from there (KFWD FM) was their promotional staff picture. I didn’t like the “Zap the Zoo!” part (KZEW FM) because I had so much love for the Zoo and that wasn’t how I personally felt. But, when you’re operating out of 2 trailer houses in the middle of nowhere going up against the powerhouse WFAA-TV/KZEW/WFAA-AM mega-complex you put your best psychological foot forward to bolster the staff into doing good works. Enjoy the picture. What do you have from KFWD? Joan
PAUL SIMON (October 13, 1941 – p) Someone told me it’s all happening at the zoo.
