MCG: How Do Mistakes Slip Through Without Being Noticed?
Do you Also find it odd that back ground vocals can go on before “keeper” vocals?
The Music City Ghost [File #93] 2015: There is a popular recording studio located here in Nashville that has some very odd wording on their website. There is a breakdown or step by step process of how they will produce your new album project. The say on day one all the tracking with the musicians will be done along with your “scratch vocals.” That sounds reasonable enough but here is where it gets a bit strange. They say on day two any over dubs and background vocals will take place. How can this be when you haven’t done your “keeper vocals” yet? Day three is spent on recording and listening to your “keeper” vocals for your approval. Next day is spent mixing etc. Did you find it odd that the back ground vocals went on before your “keeper” vocals? I am not sure if the owners of the website even know about this horrible mis-guided wording but I suspect they will change it after reading this article.
