Blake confirmed the sale of the property, via twitter, in a response to a question asked by his fan. “As a resident of Tishomingo, I’m very sorry that the Pink Pistol has decided to move its operations out of the area,” Blake said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. “We all, as a community, appreciate everything it has done for our town. As for the actual properties left behind . . . I was offered the opportunity to buy them, and I have a plan brewing.”
But Miranda still has her Pink Pistol location in Lindale, Texas, which she will be moving to a new location for expansion.
“It feels full circle to have everything under one ‘roof’ basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale,” Miranda said in a statement. “I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store. Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home.”
Could Blake’s words be a hint about his plans for the building? Brewing? Perhaps a bar or brewery is in the works in Tishomingo. We’ll have to stay tuned and find out what Blake has in store.
