Buddy and Pamela Good have been married 42 years, Pamela has Copd (progressive lung disease) and yet is not a smoker and she usually averages 5-6 hospital stays a year and there is no cure for her. Buddy is the sole supporter. Buddy will be in the hospital for a while and then a rehab for several months.

His brother and Veronica have done all they can do, while they both have families and will continue to do all they can for Buddy and Pamela.

“Veronica and I can’t thank everyone enough for the outpouring of prayers from everyone” Shawn Good

Their children are finding it pretty hard to ask for help but things are desperate at the moment. They need to have enough money to pay Buddy and Pamela’s rent, cell phones and storage unit. Buddy has been approved for disability but that won’t start until the end of October.  Veronica has assured everyone that she will be responsible for these funds and will personally make sure they are used for the reasons stated.

‘Anything will be appreciated a dollar , five dollars anything to help some truly amazing people, I have cried so many tears seeing my father going through this and my mother being alone to take care of him and not leaving his side and to even make it harder I live 8 hours away and have to help them any way I can. Never in a million years did I think I would ever have to be asking for help but I’m desperate.” Veronica Frost

Rhon’s Early Morning Inspiration For Wednesday

RhonsInspirationDaily2014Rhonnie Scheuerman’s Early Morning Inspiration For All In Need Of Some

I have done great things for you, so let Me fill you with Joy

Take ample time to ponder all I have done for you. Rejoice in My goodness and My greatness as you remember My marvelous deeds. Rest in My intimate Presence; relax in My everlasting arms. I long to fill you with Joy, but you must collaborate with Me in this process.

Do not be like a spoiled child on Christmas Day-hastily tearing open all the presents and then saying, Is that all? Every single day is a precious gift from Me! Search for Me within the boundaries of this day, and you will surely find Me. I am present not only in pleasant things but also in unwanted circumstances. My Joy is sufficient for all situations, and I adjust it according to your need. When things are going your way, My gladness intensifies your delight. When you encounter hard things, I give you a deep, bold Joy that clings to Me for help. Receiving My Joy requires not only time but also courage.

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. -Psalm 126:3

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. -Deuteronomy 33:27 nkjv

You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13 nkjv

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith-of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire-may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy. -1 Peter 1:6-8

Taking Communion

When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Luke 24:30

Taking communion can be a meaningless ritual, or an intimate time spent in the presence of Jesus. Read the story of Cleopas and his companion, they were travelling home to Emmaus when Jesus suddenly appeared and walked along with them. First He opened their eyes to see that the crucifixion wasn’t the tragedy they thought, but a fulfilment of prophecy and God’s way to redeem a lost world; something to celebrate and not be sad about. Later, as He sat in their home and ate supper with them, ‘He took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they [knew] Him’ (vv. 30-31). Are you battling fear and doubt today? Are you wondering if God will keep His promise to you? He will! Earlier that day, Cleopas and his companion met some women who had just been to the empty tomb and reported that Jesus was alive. But try as they might, they couldn’t believe it. This story proves that Jesus loves doubters enough to walk with them, take away their fears, and strengthen their faith. And guess when He did it? As they broke bread. So next time you’re taking communion, stop and pray, ‘Lord, speak to me. Show me Your will and Your way.’ That’s a prayer He will answer. Your mind may be confused and your anxiety great, but if you’re spiritually hungry He will show up and meet you at the point of your need.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, open my eyes to see You

in the Sacrament of Your Bread and Wine and in others that You work through

In Jesus’ Name, Amen
