Violence Against Traditional Marriage Supporters

TFCProtestHow same-sex “marriage” advocates use violence against traditional marriage supporters

In this newly released video, volunteers with the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) describe how they were violently assaulted by pro-homosexual “marriage” advocates while promoting traditional marriage on college campuses and in the public square.

“That empty slogan about tolerance comes crashing down after you see how TFP volunteers were criminally assaulted by same-sex ‘marriage’ advocates,” said TFP Student Action Director John Ritchie.

“The video speaks for itself.  They don’t tolerate God’s marriage.  In fact, our volunteers have been bullied, pepper sprayed, hit with glass bottles, sprayed with pesticide, punched, and spit on for peace fully stating that marriage is what it is – the union between one man and one woman.”

2014-09-08_23-51-37“When you watch same-sex ‘marriage’ activists destroy your signs, desecrate the Bible, blaspheme, and burn your literature, it becomes clear that the homosexual agenda is not really about tolerance,” Ritchie said.  “It’s about the formation of a strange dictatorship – a dictatorship of pseudo-tolerance and make-believe equality – where freedom of speech is only allowed if it advances sinful lifestyles; where God, family values and public morality are off limits and targeted for destruction.”

“We’re witnessing a moral revolution,” continued Ritchie, “and sometimes I wonder:  Will the aggressive attempt to redefine God’s marriage lead to a new religious persecution?”

“Just look at the French Revolution of 1789.  Back then, the unruly mob screamed ‘equality’ as they broke the rule of law and committed all sorts of atrocities,” he said.  “And today, you find people chanting ‘equality’ as they attack peaceful Americans who affirm the positive, self-evident truth that marriage is between one man and one woman.  It’s a big eye-opener.”

“But despite these attacks, TFP Student Action volunteers are upbeat, and planning more campaigns in defense of marriage.  We like to be on the front lines,” said Ritchie. “And the more God’s marriage is under attack, the more we will defend it.”

WHISNews21 Prayer Line and thoughts for yesterday, today and tomorrow by Marty Martel

From: Carol Lee Cooper Date: 09/07/14 20:24:13

Dear Prayer Warriors, Please pray for comfort for our dear friend & his wife. They’re names are Cliff & Cheryl Friar. Last night one of their sons was killed in a head-on collision. I can’t imagine their grief. And a few years ago they lost another one of their sons who was shot in the back & killed. They have two more sons who are each currently serving time in prisons in Memphis & Nashville. Please pray for them as they drive back from these prisons after making these trips to tell each of their sons about their brother’s death. I pray the Lord will use this as a way to minister salvation to these two remaining sons.  This precious couple are carrying a tremendously heavy burden & really need all our prayers to get through this. And this is a couple who are full of the Lord & whose witness for Christ is remarkable.  They are truly being tested, but all our prayers can make a difference.  Please pray for Cliff & Cheryl Friar & put them on every prayer list you know of. I’m praying that “the peace of God that passes all understanding” will surround them & comfort them as only Jesus can do, & that miracles will take place through this. I pray that “what the Devil meant for evil … God will turn it to good” by saving the souls of their sons while they’re in these prisons. Also keep them in your prayers as they prepare funeral arrangements for their loving son.

Thank you precious Prayer Warriors for all your prayers.

Carol Lee Cooper

Prayer for the Guidance During the Day

Oh my God, you know my weakness and failings,

And that without your help I can accomplish nothing for the good of souls, my own and others’.

Grant me, therefore, the help of your grace, according to my particular needs this day.

Enable me to see the tasks you will set before me in the daily routine of my life,

And let me set my hand to these tasks with the vigor and joy of one with whom you abide.

And if I should face trials, suffering or failure, I pray that your hand will lift me up,

And I may be refreshed. In the name of Christ, I pray.

Amen

If you have anyone you would like to send a prayer out to please mail them to

Jack The Ripper Serial Killer Finally Identified

JackTheRipperWHISNews21Jack The Ripper Famous Serial Killer Finally Identified

126 years after a string of terrible murders, a DNA breakthrough has allegedly identified Britain’s most notorious criminal.

A forensic scientist claims to have finally identified Jack the Ripper. DNA testing allegedly shows who is responsible for a string of horrific murders that took place in 1888, the Mail reported on Sunday.

According to this DNA testing, Aaron Kosminski, a Polish Jew who fled to London in the 1880s, was Jack the Ripper.

Russell Edwards, 48, the author of Naming Jack The Ripper (out Sept. 9), made the discovery after he bought a shawl, found near the body of the Ripper’s fourth victim Catherine Eddowes, at an auction house in Bury St. Edmunds in 2007.

“There was no evidence for its provenance, although after the auction I obtained a letter from its previous owner who claimed his ancestor had been a police officer present at the murder scene and had taken it from there,” Russell said.

Apparently, Russell handed the shawl over to Dr. Jari Louhelainen, a world-renowned expert in analyzing genetic evidence from historical crime scenes.

Russell said that Dr. Louhelainen proved the shawl was genuine by tracing a descendent of Catherine’s, who agreed to provide a DNA sample. They then compared that sample with one of a British descendant of Aaron’s sister, who wishes to not be identified. According to Russell, the DNA samples were a match.

“Kosminski was not a member of the Royal Family, or an eminent surgeon or politician. Serial killers rarely are. Instead, he was a pathetic creature, a lunatic who achieved sexual satisfaction from slashing women to death in the most brutal manner. He died in Leavesden Asylum from gangrene at the age of 53,” Russell said.

The evidence has not yet been independently verified.

Jack The Ripper is responsible for at least five murders in Whitechapel in East London during the fall of 1888.

TEXAS RADIO STATION REBRANDS WITH WRONG NAME KQBR FM Townsquare Media Country (Blake FM 99.5) Lubbock, TX changes its billboard to Lubbock’s New Country Station Lonestar 99.5 and retains its New Country music format. In 2012, KQBR FM is the second out of three Townsquare Media Country radio stations in Texas that rekindles as Blake FM. Townsquare keeps its Blake FM brand on KATP FM (101.9) Amarillo and KWFS FM (102.3) in Wichita Falls. But we wonder who runs the Townsquare Internet computer room because it registers Lonestar955.com for its New Country Lonestar 99.5. We wonder why because 955 does not equal 99.5. How long will it take Townsquare KQBR FM to realize its mistake? Oops!

LEN HART [former KILT/KENR/KNUS newscaster] (Geneva, Switzerland) Jim, What a great surprise to find you in my inbox this AM. It’s my honor to ‘endorse’ your enterprise. I try to keep track of what’s up on the other side of the pond and I have found that your work is essential to my daily routine which consists of 1) STRONG JAVA every morning 2) and you in my inbox. Somehow, I don’t feel like there is a HUGE POND between. I like to keep track of what’s happening in the big “H”; it is, after all, the home city of my Alma Mater (U of H) and — I still miss the Oilers! : ) Rest assured, your newsletter is always at the top of my reading list each morning. Thanks for the email. Great to hear from you. Keep up the great work, let me know how I can help. your friend, Len

JEFF MACK [McClain-KULF, KILT FM, KENR, WNOE, WYYN, KNUZ] (Cleveland, TX) KILT had a great signal in Cleveland in the daytime hours, but nothing at night. I used to drive south on 59 at night from Cleveland just to listen to the station. The weekend came and I met Johnny Shannon on his Saturday night/Sunday morning show to break in for a couple of hours. I can’t tell you how nervous I was. I couldn’t believe I was working for the Big 610 even in a part time position. The problem I ran into very quickly was how I was going to be able to work Saturday and Sunday all nights and be at school by 8 AM on Monday morning. The next thing I know, the phone is ringing from Bob White. He asked, Jeff, how old are you and are you out of high school? He quickly says, he couldn’t hire me until I was out of high school and at least 18. He compliments my work, and tells me to come back in a few months after graduation. If he didn’t have something at KILT, he would help find something for me at one of the other McLendon stations. It was indescribable how disappointed I was. Keep up the great work my friend, Jeff “Mack” McClain
DON SUNDEEN [DJ/Hi Records promotion/TV ad production] (Dallas, TX) Jim. You’re doing a real service for all the old radio folk in this neck of the woods, and we appreciate your diligence to the task. Has Ms Suzie settled in well? My wife and I adopted a wonderful older doggie this weekend who’s people had lost their home. His name is Barkley and he’s very happy to have a new family to take care of.

CLAY GISH [former KRBE FM PD] (Knoxville, TN) After 104-KRBE I returned here to Knoxville, Tennessee where I attended College after returning from serving in Viet Nam in 1968. In 1969 I was hired by Columbia records as the College Rep for The University of Tennessee, becoming the 5th College Rep in their College Rep Program started by Clive Davis. I returned to Knoxville from Houston to work for Johnny Pirkle who I had worked with in 1970 when we established the first Progressive Rock AM station in the south at 1490 WROL-AM. I Programmed WOKI-FM from January 1988 till 1994.
TRIVIA ANSWER: Keyboard player Booker T. Jones names his band the M.G.’s which means Memphis Group.
CHARLES GEORGE [ex KCHU FM] (Dallas, TX) Subject: Various Radio Topics. Hi, I have taken my Yaseu FT-857D and its antenna down and put it away in storage. decided to do some listening on to the AM Dial on my Sangean ATS-818 and a Select-A-Tenna. found my most enjoyable listening was from KJIM 1500. liked their MOR format. Also KSST 1230 has a good mix of oldies, actually I hate that term being that I am 59 and still get around, keep thinking about the saying, “putting the hand to the plow then looking back”. I also was listening to KEEL 710 but it is hard to hear because of a local with splatter on 700. KEEL use to come in better in the daytime while KWKH would come in better at night at my location, I think KEEL still puts in a better daytime signal for some reason, but with the splatter from adjacent channel interference. Charles George KC5RAI
JAROD KINTZ (March 5, 1982 to p) The radio signal was scrambled, and so were my eggs. I got tired of eating commercial breaks for breakfast.

Chesney Considers George Strait Hero and Friend

GeorgeStraitKennyChesney01Kenny Chesney Considers George Strait a ‘Hero’ and a ‘Friend’

A lot of country stars admire King George Strait, but not all of them can call the legend a friend. Kenny Chesney is one of the exceptions, though.

Chesney goes way back with the ‘Check Yes or No’ singer. Early on in his career, Chesney had the opportunity to perform out on the road with Strait, and the country icon has taught him a lot over the years.

“George is a hero; he’s a friend,” Chesney gushes (quote via Country Music is Love). “He’s someone that has inspired me. He’s someone that has taught me a lot, indirectly, by just watching him, his song sense, his stage charisma — you name it.”

One thing Strait taught Chesney was the importance of choosing really good music to record.

“George has, in so many ways, influenced me as an artist, as a person. And like I said, just pickin’ songs,” Chensey shares. “When I was new in this business, my God, I was like everybody else. We wanted to be as successful as George was, you know, and I learned pretty quickly by studying him that it all starts with the songs. And those songs that George cut and performed all these years will live forever. I mean, they just will. They’re songs that never go out of style because they touch people’s lives.”

Although Chesney has had a very big career already himself, he considers being on the road with Strait a highlight of his career.

“To be a part of his career, and doing two years with him on the road — and the first time I did stadium shows was with George, you know, and I was the first guy on … actually the second. And that’s where I learned how to do that. So, to be a part of his career has been one of the biggest highlights of my career and my life.”

Rhon’s Early Morning Inspiration For Monday

RhonsInspirationDaily2014A
MaritzOriginalLetters2013mondayRhonnie Scheuerman’s Early Morning Inspiration For All In Need Of Some

Excellent witness to all you care about, from Jesus

I give strength to My people; I bless My people with Peace. My people are all those who trust Me as their Savior-God. My death on the cross for your sins was sufficient to provide everlasting Life because I am truly God. So rest assured that the One who provides eternal Life will also give you strength.

When you are feeling weak, don’t waste energy worrying about whether you can cope with the challenges you face. I know better than you what is on the path before you, and I stand ready to help-every step of the way. Having bought you with My own blood, I have a huge vested interest in you.

Because you are Mine, I want to bless you with My Peace. The Peace I give you is not as the world gives; it can coexist with the most difficult situations because it is transcendent. It rises above both your circumstances and your understanding-and it can lift you up too!

“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. -Psalm 29:11”

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. -John 3:16 nkjv

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. -John 14:27 nkjv

The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:7
