Ed “The White Tiger” Begley Fighting To Raise Awareness Of the murders of Boers in South Africa
Ed Begley who has since the fight been called by various affectionate names as, ‘The Hammer”, “The White Tiger”, The Rhodesian Nightmare”, ‘The Rebel Boer” and a few more. It is not sure which of the nick names will stick but time will surely sort that out for us. Ed’s victory was also due to the professional help of Joe Hornsby his trainer and team at Pleasant Avenue Boxing Academy.
Ed’s very worthy opponent “Brandon Spelman” a MMA Heavy Weight Champion was probably also overwhelmed by the overwhelming support ED had from the huge crowd at the “Pleasant Valley Venue Arena” it must have been a little imitating for him as the crowd was 98 percent behind Ed all the way.

After the fight Ed was saying that he was so excited about winning this fight for the Boers that he was already thinking that maybe he can get back into the fighting game again, as he probably has about two to three years left in him to do that. As always Ed was not thinking about the tremendous strain on his body at his age, but by the amount of publicity he could gain and perhaps even money he could collect for the Boer people of South Africa seems more important to him, than his personal health.

Ed has had so much support both from his family, friends and faithful fans in America that he acknowledges, that without their support locally he could never have been able to arrange this event. Then with a sparkle in his eye he says that he has found a brand new family that he would never have dreamed about a few years ago, in the Boers of South Africa. The support, friendship and acknowledgement for his work and sacrificies has been overwhelming and makes that place where people keep their treasures in their hearts so warm and fuzzy.

Ed is very humbled by the fact that, it is said that some people in South Africa sung die Stem in Church in Honor of Ed’s victory Saturday night. One of Ed’s biggest fans, his Mother Kathy said it was a great fight, Ed out boxed his opponent in every round, he moved and jabbed keeping him on the move. Ed’s opponent was 16 years older than Ed, and you could say that Ed could have been his Dad. There was no doubt that Ed earned his title and the magical belt.
A Little Background on Ed Begley and Tattoo Billy;
The band Tattoo Billy was formed by Hurstel & Ed Begley.
Hurstel Ed’s father, a native of eastern Kentucky, was born in a log cabin in east Bernstadt….his mother passed away a few weeks after his birth. He was raised by his Aunt who taught him his first chords on the guitar.
Tattoo Billy has decided to embrace the Boers and because of this we have taken some abuse lately from people who don’t understand, but we are confident that the Lord has steered us in this direction and given us the wisdom to see past the propaganda that has been spread against the Boer people of South Africa.
As Christians we cannot sit back and do nothing when woman and children are being raped and murdered just because they are part of the Boer Nation and perhaps because they are mostly Christians. Tattoo Billy has recently had two of their songs,”White Lightning” and “Southern Comfort State Of Mind”, reach #1 on the Independent Superstars International Download Country Download Chart show.
Tattoo Billy also wants the world to know that they stand for the Boers of South Africa and there right to live! This worthy cause can be heard in their tribute song “Children Of Ham” which was inspired by Frans Maritz who made us aware of the murder and genocide in South Africa

But I will god was with me that night…his glory not mine…lost my wife and father two dogs and a Job in years time and fought this fight for all White Afrikaans didn’t make a dime and gave out of my pocket …still haven’t quit fighting for this cause just not in the ring though turning 43 Sept 12 but people see today still talk about it there was amagic in the air that night and god brought it shalom Boervolk

You are a good man and i am proud of you and God will bless you you are a good son you fought a man 18 years younger and 70 pounds heavier than you. And like David God gave you the power to win because you turn to Him. Boer can do the same God can over turn this into their win.
