Bradford Files: If It Ain’t Broke Don’t Fix It

IF IT AIN’T BROKE DON’T FIX IT: Thomas Bertram (Bert) Lance (born June 3, 1931) is an American businessman, who was Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Jimmy Carter. He is credited with coming up with this saying. Although this saying is accepted worldwide and has been an inspiration to millions, I wonder what the APPLE CORPORATION thinks of this? Not a day goes by that a new device or an improved device doesn’t show up somewhere in their Marketing strategy. If they adhered to this saying we would still be walking around with the first product to come off their assembly line. Other companies such as FORD didn’t pay attention to the saying either. I doubt if the first cars that rolled off their assembly line are still running and on the road today. Don’t get me wrong. I love doing things the old fashioned way and I don’t embrace change very easily. However, INDIE ARTISTS now enjoy new and improved graphic designs when showcasing their new releases to radio. They now have VIRTUAL RADIO TOURS made available to them. Their music is available for download to the public and a chart to reflect the song’s popularity with the world. I could go on but I am only allowed so many words in each article. All of the things mentioned here are a direct result of going against the saying, IF IT AIN’T BROKE DON’T FIX IT.
