KMA Recording Artist Clay Alston was born and raised in DeRidder, Louisiana. His interest in music was due to his uncle leaving him an old worn-out, out-of-tune guitar at his house one weekend. Clay was probably only 10 years old when he started strumming on that guitar, and now a good couple off years later and a little older he is still strumming on guitars.
Clay admits that he never really took music to seriously beyond the point where it wasn’t fun, even though his had chances to go in many different directions in the music business. Clay always kept his head below the clouds and never let his head get above them. His personal thought’s on music is to make the listener refresh all their memories, preferably and mostly the happy ones. But, as we all know, he says “If you live long enough in this world, we all have to deal with our sad memories too”. Clay proudly boasts that he just loves to entertain, and says with pride that if you had to ask anyone who has been to one of the places he has performed at they will tell you that he puts the people first. He want the the fans to get their money’s worth and much more. Finally Clay tells us that he just loves meeting people, and above all, he loves to listen to their stories. He also invites you round to his website www.clayalston.com and check him out and if he doesn’t see you there he will see you in your hometown soon.
