MEDIA REQUEST R.O.P.E.’S NEW MUSIC FEST EVENT “BREAKFAST WITH THE STARS”
JUNE 6, 2012 – 9 to 12 NASHVILLE NITELIFE
As President of R.O.P.E. (Reunion of Professional Entertainers), we are having a breakfast this year, on June 6 at the New Nashville Nitelife from 9AM to 1200 noon. I am once again asking you to include us in your media releases, because I will say what I have said over the years, without the media to support any activities and events, we cannot be successful, unless the fans know about the details of any special event. We do need your help.
During my second term as President of R.O.P.E. I know that this show is no doubt the most important one of my time as President, and I asking you to give us as much press as you can, and I extend an invitation to you to attend the breakfast and be with this great line-up of artists, and the list is not completed. Your coverage of this event would be of great benefit to our organization at a time when we are making changes in our name and charter, to attract new members, especially artists who have never joined our organization, and new artists who do not know us, and those that seem to think that we are a retirement group of people. That is not who we are.
I have worked diligently as head of R.O.P.E. to attract our industry people and artists, and we are increasing membership with great strides. With you giving us your support, we will have one of the greatest gatherings R.O.P.E. has ever had. I know that we have continually asked for your help over the past several years, and you have always been generous to us. Before this event was put together, we were always competing with CMA on the day or evening of one of their large shows at the stadium. This time we are presenting our event one (1) day prior to CMA’s Music Fest start, and we feel that this is going to be something that the fans, who will already be in town, will be interested in attending, because they will want something to do, and our show will be in the morning, so they would have the rest of the day to shop, etc.
I know this press release is lengthy, but I want you to have all of the info that you will need for any print you might be able to give us. I thank you personally, as do all of the Board of Directors of R.O.P.E. Whatever questions you may have, please do not hesitate to call me or Leslie Elliott. Remember, we would like for you to attend, and we ask you to advise us if you will be able to be with us.
