Denmark, has a brand new website, and wants everyone to come visit and leave a comment. www.hangingtreerecords.net Dan grew up in the middle of Roskilde , a provincial town situated approximately 15 miles west of Copenhagen . The interest for Country music started in his childhood, when he was a seven year old boy, where he bought his very first album, and there it kept building and building with his records collection well over 1000. While working a day job he started his own local Radio Station named Roskilde Frequency in company with some DJ friends back in 1982. After a roaring career their radio station had to close for being in competition with the big guys. Dann’s favorite music has always been classic country music, Dann called up his old friend, Randall Cousins , and explained he would like to start a good country label to play the country music he grew up listening, and wanted him to be his connection in North American side. After discussing it all, they went into an agreement to create a classic label, where Dann would act as A&R Director, and the rest is history. (Since opening the label, Randall has passed on) His more than 50 years as country music lover, has shown and given him evidence in what pure country music is, and Dann will always fight for the classic and traditional style.
Now Dann has hooked up with longtime friend Debbie Dean of Debbie Dean Promotions, out of Nashville Tenn.
